IPS-Sendero’s Prologue Shareholder Accounting supports accounting and certificate management functions, including complex cash and stock dividends, stock split transactions and cash payouts for fractional shares.

Calculation and distribution of cash and stock dividends are automatic, and dividend checks print directly from the system. An interface with IPS-Sendero’s MICR Check Generator, an optional MICR check-printing system, further simplifies management of shareholder activities.

Powerful tools allow for reinvestment in stock, stock splits and reverse splits, as well as tracking adjusted-cost basis. A transaction register reconciles certificates issued, traded or retired. The system automatically tracks and reports related-party ownership and ownership percentages based in these relationships.

Prologue Shareholder Accounting supports all classes of stocks, including common, preferred and Treasury. You can print customized certificates directly from the system with a user-friendly “drag and drop” formatting function.

An integrated database gives you easy access to all shareholder and certificate information. Data storage is extensive and includes tax-exempt status and reinvestment flags.

Shareholder Accounting supports complete 1099 reporting, meeting both paper and electronic file requirements. The system can store multiple ACH parameter records through an optional ACH module.

Prologue Shareholder Accounting provides complete shareholder reporting. It tracks number of shares, certificate numbers, cash dividends, and stock dividends and splits. The system also tracks backup withholding amounts, dividend reinvestments and stock transfers.
